Undo?

Hey, I saw you undid my message on the Admin noticeboard. I can't edit the Secret page myself due to the issue I listed there. Instead of fixing the Secret page's incorrect info, you delete my message about it? Seems weird Blaatschaap (talk) 11:43, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

I removed your message in Hearthstone Wiki talk:Admin noticeboard because it was not added properly. As for Secret page, I haven't got time to review it, but you can edit the page, then someone can check your edits for accuracy. Use25 (talk) 10:00, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
Is this a joke? The whole reason I posted on the noticeboard is to say I couldn't edit the Secret page due to getting a bogus warning on trying to submit my edit. Blaatschaap (talk) 20:06, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
What bug? Can you take a screenshot so I can check? Usually it's the technical problem from Fandom, so I can't guarantee to fix it. By default, everyone can still edit Secret. Use25 (talk) 10:06, 6 April 2021 (UTC)

Image sources

Please remember that when uploading card art like File:Marsh Hydra full.jpg or File:Apexis Smuggler full.jpg, you should include the source where you got the image from using {{Card artwork}}. --DeludedTroll (talk) 17:47, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Uh yeah, sorry. Was intending to do, but I instead waited for Libram reveal (after I finished Germination and it was 7 minutes left) and forgot I hadn't included sources in these 4 art images. Use25 (talk) 23:07, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Admin offer

I know you kind of didn't actually nominate yourself since you're not necessarily as active as others, but even a semi-active admin would be an improvement, and I certainly see your name plenty in notifications, so I would like to offer you the promotion anyway. Whether you accept or not will have no bearing on the offers I'm making to others, as I don't see any harm in promoting three at this time. So please let me know if you're still interested. SBEyes (talk) 23:41, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

Yes, I'm interested in being a semi-active admin. I want to help more with MediaWiki, templates and some other coding stuffs specifically. Use25 (talk) 03:15, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
Then congratulations on your promotion. Happy editing. SBEyes (talk) 10:58, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

"Core set appearance"

Hey Use25, just so you know, cards from Wild that are changed to be in the Core set, such as Menagerie Warden, will also have their base version changed, as stated by Celestalon here. So I don't think there needs to be a section "Core set" on these pages. Have a good day! --Mattheus 45 (talk) 19:48, 20 February 2021 (UTC)

Reverted changes

Hey Use, may I know why you reverted my changes on both Elusive-generating and Upgraded cards? For the latter, I harmonized the sections between all of the Upgraded cards, so I don't see why you would revert that with no comment. --Mattheus 45 (talk) 09:17, 22 February 2021 (UTC)

It's not actually a keyword. I mean, if it was keyworded like Dormant or Frenzy, I would consider add subtags for Elusive. Use25 (talk) 19:11, 28 March 2021 (UTC)

advance knowledge of rewards track

re special:diff/426939 how did you know what the 1st level reward will be for Forged in the Barrens track on March 15th when it's not supposed to switch to that from Madness at the Darkmoon Faire until March 30th? Is there some way to switch over to that early? Still stuck on page 11 (level 65) getting boring 50-gold-per-increase past 50. Seems like once you complete the tenth page it's ideal to reset to level one. Tycio (talk) 17:53, 28 March 2021 (UTC)

It was announced in the blog. Unfortunately, there is no way to switch early. You can read it here: https://playhearthstone.com/en-us/news/23609768/rewards-track-refresh-and-diamond-cards . Use25 (talk) 19:11, 28 March 2021 (UTC)

Template:Quotes/new

The 02 options currently aren't displaying (e.g. Brann Bronzebeard lacks summon02), though I assume you're working on this. - Linneris (talk) 16:17, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

Edits reverted

Hey, can I have an explanation of why you reverted some of the edits I made? I don't see a reason for the descriptions I modified to have a line break, other than text harmony on the card (which should not impact the actual description, as the text boxes it is referred in have different widths). --Mattheus 45 (talk) 12:08, 21 June 2021 (UTC)

It has to match with the description from actual data, since I'm going to implement a feature that automatically detects the difference between our cards' data with actual Hearthstone cards' data. Here is the example of Runaway Gyrocopter from Hearthstone database:
<b>Rush</b>. <b>Deathrattle:</b> Deal 5 damage to all enemy minions, then shuffle\nthis into your deck.
Meanwhile, I just made an edit in {{Card infobox/layout}} to temporarily remove line breaks. I will explain further once I completed revamping the {{Card infobox/layout}}. Use25 (talk) 13:26, 21 June 2021 (UTC)

Wiki Code Issues

Hello! I'm Thundercraft5, and I represent Fandom's Vanguard volunteer team. We help communities adopt to new technologies and features and to improve their technical performance. We have spotted some code issues on this wiki that Iā€™d like to make fixes to, which should not break anything further nor affect the wiki content. Fixing some of the issues will require me to introduce some new code that will perform better and should appear the same as it does now. Maintaining the fixes if you want to make changes should be very simple. We'd really like to get working on your community, and we would appreciate your go-ahead. Once I am finished, I will leave you another message to follow up. Please expect that Vanguard will deploy these fixes on or after 8/15/2021 unless you note that we should not. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for your consideration, and I hope we can produce a result that works for everyone.

Our community portal has been updated. Be sure to check out the projects if you wish to become an editor and help contribute the Hearthstone Wiki!
