United in Stormwind is Hearthstone's 18th expansion, featuring 135 collectible cards released on August 3, 2021.[1]
Set in the majestic capital city Stormwind, a testament to all the Alliance stands for, United in Stormwind features the Alliance's mercenaries coming to rest, preparing for the next step in their journey, and filled with bustling trade, shiny equipment, epic mounts, and new Questlines.
United in Stormwind introduced two new keywords: Tradeable and Questline. Tradable cards can be dragged into your deck to spend 1 mana and draw a new card from your deck, while Questline cards, similar to Quest ones, are legendary spells that start in your hand, have a condition and along with the reward for meeting the condition. However, unlike Quest, each Questline card consists of three conditions and three rewards, with the first rewards functioning similarly to Sidequest, and the final reward which is added to your hand for completing all three conditions.
How to get[]
United in Stormwind craftable cards can be obtained by one of the following methods:
- Opening card packs with the usual prices and purchasing options
- Crafting for the usual amounts of Arcane Dust depending on the cards' rarity
- Uncraftable cards

Stormwind City (a.k.a. New Stormwind or simply Stormwind), located north of Elwynn Forest on Azeroth region's northwest coast, is the capital city of the kingdom of Stormwind and the largest human city on Azeroth. After the Third War, it has become one of the last great human cities, and embodies the heart of the Alliance. Stormwind's willingness to work with others to find diplomatic solutions stands out as one of its true strengths. Its citizens hold fast to the principles of honor and justice as they defend their settlements, and the Alliance, against any aggressors.
No city better demonstrates human determination than Stormwind. Destroyed during the Horde's initial invasion of Azeroth, Stormwind was painstakingly reconstructed by the Stonemasons' Guild after the Second War. Parts of the city were razed again when Deathwing, the corrupted black Dragon Aspect, brutally attacked Stormwind, but the other undamaged districts are more beautiful than ever thanks to their hardworking inhabitants. From the magnificent Cathedral of Light, which serves as a major spiritual hub, to the awe-inspiring Valley of Heroes, which commemorates the sacrifices of Stormwind's loyal champions, the city truly represents the courageous heart of humanity, and serves as a bastion of the Holy Light.
The Stormwind City Guard are the law enforcement and protectors of Stormwind City, keeping the peace within the city's walls.

History[]
On June 28, 2021, an announcement teaser was posted on the PlayHearthstone YouTube channel showing Stormwind soldiers and the Alliance banner.[2] It was announced in the video that reveals would begin July 1.
On July 1, the expansion was announced along with new cards being revealed.
