The Taverns of Time is an event that started on June 11, 2018 and lasted through July 2, 2018. It was centered primarily around the Arena format, and themed around 
Toki, Time-Tinker as well as the Caverns of Time instances from World of Warcraft.
A second iteration of this event started on June 27th, 2022 and lasted through August 2nd, 2022 with all Taverns of Time cards except Murozond returning. Several balance changes were also made to increase the power level of existing Taverns of Time cards. See the individual cards' pages for balance change details.

- 28 Arena Exclusive cards have been added to the game.
- Players are sometimes presented with the option of adding these arena-exclusive cards to their arena deck during drafting picks.
- All players received a free entry into the Arena.
- New daily quests were active which rewarded gold and dust.

- It turns out that Toki was tracking the right timeline, because the Taverns of Time event has begun! Time-Tinker Toki’s experiment has gone catastrophically wrong, just as predicted! This is an unprecedented arcano-scientific opportunity! Time to put on your labcoats and do some SCIENCE![1]
2022 blog review[]
- The Arena-only set, Taverns of Time, is returning to Arena with several adjustments to update the set for the game’s current state.
Murozond has been removed from the set—he can't be trusted messing with time, honestly—and many of the set's other 28 cards have had their costs or stats adjusted.[2]
