Notes

To edit these notes, go to Template:The Harvester of Envy notes.

The Harvester of Envy's effect functions as follows:

  • Playing any copied card that is currently in the opponent's hand or deck will be stolen from their hand/deck and added to your hand.
  • Playing a copied minion or location that currently exists on the battlefield will be taken control of.
  • Playing a copied spell that is in play (any spell that can exist on the battlefield, such as Secrets and Quests) will be taken control of. (For example, stealing a Secret works the exact same as Goblins vs GnomesKezan Mystic.)
  • Playing a copied weapon that the enemy hero has equipped will be transferred to the player instead (Like Descent of DragonsKobold Stickyfinger).
  • Playing a copied hero card that is already in play will not be stolen.
  • In case a card transforms into a different one (E.g. cards with transform in hand effects, Infuse cards, Corrupt cards) and it is played, the original card will not be stolen.

The Tithelord, also called the Caretaker, is a venthyr, and the Harvester of Envy.
According to Murder at Castle NathriaPrince Renathal, he was the 275th Harvester to rule the Village Ward. He succeeded the Caretaker, the former Harvester of Envy and former owner of the Tithelord's current home, the Caretaker's Manor. He refused to participate in Prince Renathal's rebellion, accusing the Prince of desiring power for himself. After Denathrius's defeat, the Tithelord quickly moved to consolidate his own power. He allied with the lich Kel'Thuzad, giving him the Medallion of Dominion in exchange for the aid of Maldraxxi troops. When Prince Renathal, Baroness Draka, and the Maw Walker assaulted his manor, he called upon Kel'Thuzad and asked for help repelling the attack. Kel'Thuzad declined, having already gotten what he wanted, and left the Tithelord to die at the Maw Walker's hands.
