Sunkeeper Tarim is a legendary paladin minion card, from the Journey to Un'Goro set.

How to get[]

Sunkeeper Tarim can be obtained through Journey to Un'Goro card packs, or through crafting.

Card Crafting cost Disenchanting
Sunkeeper Tarim 1600 400
Golden Sunkeeper Tarim 3200 1600

Strategy[]

Sunkeeper Tarim's Battlecry is akin to Keeper of Uldaman, but on all minions, friendly or enemy. Its usage is similar, shrinking enemy minions down to make them easier to remove, while boosting your Silver Hand Recruits and other minions. Ideally you will want to play Tarim with several friendly minions already able to attack, as you can then dictate advantageous trades right away. In a pinch, Tarim's own stats and Taunt make him able to deal with 3 affected minions by himself, assuming no interference from the opponent's own cards and answers.

Lore[]

Sunkeeper Tarim is a tol'vir unique to Hearthstone.[1]

Wowpedia icon.pngThis section uses content from Wowpedia.
The tol'vir are a race of feline humanoids found in Uldum. They were originally stone constructs created by the titans to maintain lore repositories and machinery surrounding that area, as well as the city of Ulduar. They possess feline lower bodies and heads as well as human torsos, and are divided into three distinct tribes: the Ramkahen, the Neferset and the Orsis. Like many other titan-forged, the tol'vir succumbed to the Curse of Flesh, though the Neferset later regained their stone forms due to a pact with Siamat.

In the story of Journey to Un'Goro, a group of tol'vir wandered from Uldum into the neighboring region of Un'Goro Crater and made a home for themselves there.[2]

A tol'vir with the same title as Tarim, Sunkeeper Croesus, appears as an elite mob during the Un'Goro Madness micro-holiday in World of Warcraft. They are likely connected in some way.
