Shield Slam is an epic warrior spell card, from the Classic set. It deals 1 damage to a chosen minion for each point of Armor the hero has.
How to get
Shield Slam can be obtained through Classic card packs, through crafting, or as an Arena reward. Regular Shield Slam can also be obtained through the Highest Rank Bonus chest at the end of a Ranked season, or as a first-time reward for first time reaching Platinum 10 or Diamond 10 in Ranked mode.

- Requires a minion on the board.
- Does not require the hero to have Armor.
Strategy
Shield Slam has incredible synergy with the warrior card 
Shield Block and their hero power Armor Up!. It's not uncommon for a warrior to have 5 or more armor, meaning Shield Slam is usually capable of easily killing strong minions for only 1 mana.
If combined with Malygos on turn 10, Shield Slam gives you the ability to deal 5 extra damage, even when you have no armor, i.e., 0 armor shield slam with Malygos on board will do 5 damage instead of 0.
A less common use of Shield Slam is for triggering effects such as Counterspell or Gadgetzan Auctioneer. As a 1-mana spell it is very useful for these purposes, and can be used for such without the hero having any Armor.
Lore
Based upon the World of Warcraft ability of the same name, this is the bread and butter of any true Protection warrior. It is a staple attack which deals damage and generates Rage to fuel the warrior's other abilities.
