Savagery is a rare druid spell card.

How to get

Savagery can be obtained through Classic card packs, through crafting, or as an Arena reward. Regular Savagery can also be obtained through the Highest Rank Bonus chest at the end of a Ranked season, or as a first-time reward for first time reaching Silver 10 or Gold 10 in Ranked mode.

Card Crafting cost Disenchanting
Savagery 100 20
Golden Savagery 800 100

Notes

Savagery is affected by abilities that increase spell damage.

Strategy

If the druid has Spell Damage on the board, this card can be used to deal damage even if the druid has no Attack. This means that with 10 mana, a druid may play LegacyMalygos, two Moonfires (6 damage each), and Savagery (5 damage) for a total of 17 damage.

Druids can increase their Attack through LegacyShapeshift, LegacyBite, LegacyClaw and/or LegacySavage Roar.

Since druids do not have any cards that equip a weapon, and all druid sources of Attack are temporary, it is typically necessary to either use another ability earlier that turn to gain Attack, or have a source of Spell Damage in play, in order to make use of Savagery. A druid can, however, get an LegacyAshbringer by copying a Paladin's LegacyTirion Fordring using LegacyFaceless Manipulator, at which point Savagery deals at least five damage.
