For the boss Hero Power of the same name, see Sand Breath (Normal) and Sand Breath (Heroic).

Sand Breath is common paladin spell card, from the Descent of Dragons set.

How to get[]

Sand Breath can be obtained through Descent of Dragons card packs, or through crafting.

Card Crafting cost Disenchanting
Sand Breath 40 5
Golden Sand Breath 400 50

Strategy[]

A stronger version of Divine Strength when holding a dragon. It's a nice buff for control movements, streghtening a low cost taunt minion or even creating a power curve card like Paragon of Light or Brazen Zealot.

You may not need a Dragon focused deck to take advantage of this card. Bronze Explorer, Bronze Herald are simple options for an early Sand Breath and generating further Dragons for a later buff.

Sand Breath is an alternate way for The Glass Knight to stay alive. Whenever you lack of healing spells or you don't have any target requiring it, Sand Breath plus a dragon can help you keep the pressure.

Paladin has some nice stats cards like High Priest Thekal, Commander Rhyssa, Arrogant Crusader, Zandalari Templar and Amber Watcher, and Sand Breath gives them a lot of control power.

Keep in mind that Sand Breath is just a Divine Strength without a dragon, and using it this way is a waste, since you can have the same effect without any dragon and save some cards in the process.
