Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Each time Rafaam Invokes, Summon Galakrond also does the following:
    • 1st Invoke: Summon 2 Imps.
    • 2nd Invoke: Summon 2 Imps. Both are given a +1/+1 enchantment.
    • 3rd Invoke: Summon 2 Imps. Both are given a +2/+2 enchantment.
    • 4th Invoke: Summon 2 Imps. Both are given a +3/+3 enchantment.
    • 5th Invoke: Summon 2 Imps. Both are given a +4/+4 enchantment.
    • Those enchantments cannot be silenced.
  • If the player manages to defeat Rafaam, Prime Evil before he Invokes enough (5) times, he is automatically Immune and raises Galakrond anyway.
    • To defeat this boss, the player has to let him raise Galakrond.
  • 2 Disciple of Galakronds are always in Rafaam's starting hand.
  • Before Galakrond is raised, Rafaam always tries to play Invoke cards first, even if it can destroy his own board.
  • Right after the moment Rafaam raises Galakrond, he equips Galakrond's Claw and immediately skips his turn, even if there are actions left to do (ordering minions to attack, attacking with weapons, spending remaining Mana Crystals).
  • Despite the word "random" in Gatling Magic's description, it actually has a special pool, consisting of only certain spells to cast. For more information, see Gatling Magic.
  • Sir Finley the Valiant, Commander Elise and Dragonrider Brann are actually not in Reno's deck. They are automatically added and drawn immediately if certain conditions are met during the gameplay.
    • Sir Finley the Valiant is drawn after player's turn 3 or 4.
    • Commander Elise is drawn after player's turn 5, 6 or 7.
    • Dragonrider Brann is drawn after Reno has transformed into Renogos for one turn.
  • Wondrous Wisdomball is in player's deck as a Passive card.
    • If The Amazing Reno takes lethal damage, Wondrous Wisdomball gives him Immune until the end of the opponent's turn.
    • If Renogos' health is 20 or less and Rafaam & Galakrond attempts to attack him, Wondrous Wisdomball immediately summons Ysera, Unleashed, Kalecgos and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, and gives them Taunt.
  • If you get and play Sky Gen'ral Kragg after receiving the Quest, his Battlecry will not activate, since the Quest was not played from your hand.

Before encounter

Lock down the city, everyone. I'm going after Rafaam!

You're all out of villains, Rafaam. It's just you… and me.
Reno Jackson! Who let you out? It is impossible to find good help.

Rafaam Invoking 2 times

This ain't pretty…

Rafaam Invoking 4 times

This might hurt a little.

Rafaam Invoking 5 times / Defeated before it

Arise, Galakrond. ARISE!!
My rebirth begins the cycle of the world anew.
I don't know what that means, but I don't like it.
(Draconic Potential cast)
There's so much magic here… I don't feel like myself…

Gatling Magic

Woohoo! Full auto!
Bang bang bang - this never gets old!
It's a two-for-one sale on butt kickings!

Draconic Potential completed

(Reno transforms into Renogos)
Wait… wha… My wings feel funny!
What is this? Stop with the thunder-stealing, you... mustachioed moron!

After Reno turning into Renogos

Turn 2
We learned about your origins at Wyrmrest Temple. Did you ever know?
Turn 4
I always knew there was something different about me…
Ever since I showed up at the orphanage. Inside that egg.
Turn 6
In dragon years you’d be a juvenile… that explains so much.
Turn 8
I suppose I always loved sitting around in piles of treasure… oh and magic tricks!

Drawing Sir Finley the Valiant

Sir Finley
The city is secured! Now then, what next?

Sir Finley the Valiant

Sir Finley
Reno / Renogos
Finley! My right-hand mur-man!

Drawing Commander Elise

Reno has not transformed yet
Reno, I'm here. Listen, the Dragon Queen told me something important -
That can wait! I'm a bit busy here…
Reno has transformed
Reno, the city is safe. Let's focus on Rafaam!

Commander Elise

Reno, look out! He's trying to resurrect Galakrond! (before Galakrond is raised)
Reno, look out! He's trying to resurrect Gala- Oh no. (after Galakrond is raised)

Drawing Dragonrider Brann

The city is safe! Now, where's Rafaam?

Dragonrider Brann

Onward, explorers!
Reno / Renogos
Let's take this home, Brann!

Renogos with 20 health or less & being attacked

Wondrous Wisdomball
This will protect you!
(Ysera, Unleashed, Kalecgos and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza summoned with Taunt)

Rafaam & Galakrond[edit | edit source]

Introduction in Heroic

You are too late adventurer, Azeroth… will be mine!

Turn 2

I have put a LOT of work into this plan.

Turn 4

Forming an E.V.I.L. league… taking a magical city…

Turn 6

And the plagues! They were good fun.

Turn 8

Who would use a plague to raise a dragon? I WOULD! I AM RAFAAM!

Invoke - not the moment to raise Galakrond

More power!
Yes… for Galakrond!
He grows ever stronger…
Now we are getting somewhere!
Yes… YES!

Rafaam Invoking 5 times / Defeated before it

Arise, Galakrond. ARISE!!
My rebirth begins the cycle of the world anew.

After Galakrond is raised

at the start of Rafaam's turn, one of these dialogues are randomly used. This repeats until all are used.
Behold, Galakrond! The greatest Dragon, from before dragons were dragons!
He will destroy you! He will smack you around with his teeny-tiny arms!
Look, he destroys foes without being told. Good boy! That is a good boy.
Sit pretty, Galakrond! Ah, he is not pretty. This is fine.
Crush them, Galakrond! I have the greatest job.

Emote Response

Silence! The culmination of my needlessly complex master plan is at hand! (before Galakrond is raised)
Talk to the dragon because this face does not want to hear it! (after Galakrond is raised)

Must… destroy…
Chaos…? Yes, chaos…

<Attack exertion> (before Galakrond is raised)
Get them, Galakrond! (after Galakrond is raised)

Unleashing Devastation

To oblivion.
None will remain.
You are like gnats before a giant!

Player's any Galakrond hero card

Wait no! That was MY master plan!
Behold, the second Galak- wait there were two?

The Amazing Reno / Renogos[edit | edit source]

All of the emotes are the same as Reno Jackson's in Tombs of Terror adventure.

Unused dialogue[edit | edit source]

Scrapped card

These dialogue lines exist in the game data, but never appear in the actual gameplay. Most of them also have sound files.

Commander Elise

Reno / Renogos
Yeah, I figured that out… eventually.
So THAT'S your plan, eh?

After Renogos is transformed

My dragon will CRUSH your dragon! Yours has terrible teeth and an awful tan!
Sir Finley
A dragon! Well, that explains why he’d light his flatulence aflame!
No it doesn’t, Finley. It really doesn’t.
Reno! Er - Renogos! We've almost got 'im!

It was once planned that Rafaam would try to destroy Dalaran. In the end, this idea was scrapped. However, the card still exists, but is never used.
Ram the city into something! Shake them up!
