- if the spell used to trigger Magescribe's spellburst also triggers the trap
Pressure Plate and it destroys Magescribe, although the trap will be shown hitting Magescribe first, the spellburst triggers and adds the spell to hand before it is destroyed - Onyx Magescribe's flavor text references the popular saying "Sometimes you gotta spend money to make money", said by the Roman playwright Titus Maccius Plautus.
