Strategy

Mana Cyclone is similar to Lyra the Sunshard, but unlike Lyra it can't continue to generate spells with its own effect. It's good following up on cheap spells, especially cheap spells that create more. Ray of Frost, Magic Trick, and Elemental Evocation are both good combo pieces. It's particularly powerful when combined with Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Mana Cyclone is also very effective at completing the mage quest Open the Waygate as it generates random spells.
