Malygos Shaman is a Shaman combo deck. It revolves around its ability to cheat out Malygos for a very low cost followed by cheap direct damage spells.
The deck aims to cycle heavily during the early to mid-game, keep control of the board with strong area of effect clears such as Volcano and Lightning Storm, and then assemble their combo and begin their burst phase in the late game. One of the deck's strengths is in its ability to use its burst options as spot removal, allowing it to contest aggression fairly easily in the meta.
The combo is accomplished in three different ways: Malygos is brought out with either Ancestor's Call or Eureka!, which is followed up with low-cost direct damage spells including Lightning Bolt, Totemic Smash, Frost Shock, and Crackle. Alternatively, Emperor Thaurissan is used to discount Malygos and all the damage spells once they are in your hand.
