Trivia[]

  • The second Rager to be added to the game, Ice Rager is a strictly better version of Ashes of OutlandBasicBlackrock MountainClassicHero SkinsNaxxramasDemon Hunter InitiateDescent of DragonsFestival of LegendsForged in the BarrensFractured in Alterac ValleyGalakrond's AwakeningGoblins vs GnomesLegacyLegacyJourney to Un'GoroKnights of the Frozen ThroneKobolds & CatacombsThe League of ExplorersMadness at the Darkmoon FaireMarch of the Lich KingMean Streets of GadgetzanMercenariesMurder at Castle NathriaOne Night in KarazhanPath of ArthasRastakhan's RumblePromoRise of ShadowsSaviors of UldumScholomance AcademyThe Boomsday ProjectThe Grand TournamentThe WitchwoodTITANSUnited in StormwindVoyage to the Sunken CityWhispers of the Old GodsCoreMagma Rager, as it has one more Health. However, it is also far less easily obtained: as a Basic card every player automatically has Magma Rager in their collection, whereas Ice Rager must be opened from a pack or crafted. As a result, it represents an earned upgrade to Magma Rager, although given the poorness of the original card the upgraded version is still less than outstanding. As of the core set being introduced, this no longer applies.
