Gentle Djinni is a Tier 6 minion in the Battlegrounds game mode.
Notes
- Gentle Djinni firstly summons an elemental, and only then puts a copy of it in hand. Therefore, if Djinni's deathrattle triggers more than once, but there is not enough space on board to summon another minion, the player will not receive a second and subsequent copy of elemental.
Strategy
Gentle Djinni's deathrattle is able to spawn a minion of any tier and add a copy to the player's hand regardless of the player's current Tavern Tier. This means finding Gentle Djinni early, such as from a Shifter Zerus or playing a Golden minion at Tier 5 can snowball the player ahead significantly by having more elementals and reducing a dependence on minions in Bob's Tavern. Just like Stasis Elemental or Tavern Tempest, Gentle Djinni can make it easier to find Lil' Rag or Lieutenant Garr.
Gentle Djinni usually comes into play when other important high tier minions are already in warband - Lil' Rag, Nomi, Kitchen Nightmare, or Lieutenant Garr. Another advantage of this minion is increasing the chances of getting triple cards.
