While its stat economy is equal to that of [[Ironfur Grizzly]] and [[Sen'jin Shieldmasta]], it lacks the former's potential for [[Beast]] synergy, and the latter's boosted Health. Its low Health makes it easily removed, negating much of its usefulness as a Taunt, and meaning that most decks will prefer 2 mana minions with higher stats or more useful abilities, such as the [[basic]] [[Acidic Swamp Ooze]] or any number of [[Classic]] minions such as [[Amani Berserker]]. Previously, as the only 2 mana Taunt in the game, it may have found a place in some decks as an early Taunt, but even there is easily disposed of by a single attack from most minions. The release of the [[Annoy-o-Tron]] has ultimately rendered it completely obsolete.

Strategy

This card is fairly unimpressive. It has mediocre stats for 2 mana and relatively poor defensive capabilities due to low Health. It is also a "General" type minion, preventing it from benefiting from any minion type synergies.

While its stat economy is equal to that of LegacyIronfur Grizzly and LegacySen'jin Shieldmasta, it lacks the former's potential for Beast synergy, and the latter's boosted Health. Its low Health makes it easily removed, negating much of its usefulness as a Taunt, and meaning that most decks will prefer 2 mana minions with higher stats or more useful abilities, such as the basic LegacyAcidic Swamp Ooze or any number of Classic minions such as LegacyAmani Berserker. Previously, as the only 2 mana Taunt in the game, it may have found a place in some decks as an early Taunt, but even there is easily disposed of by a single attack from most minions. The release of Goblins vs GnomesAnnoy-o-Tron and One Night in KarazhanPompous Thespian has ultimately rendered it completely obsolete.

The Frostwolf clan was one of the original orc clans from the planet of Draenor, and one of very few clans not to partake of the Blood of Mannoroth which corrupted the other clans. Today, the Frostwolf clan hopes to retake Alterac Valley from the relic-seeking Stormpike Guard dwarves.
