Force attack

Force attack is the informal name for an ability that forces a character to attack.

Notes

• A forced attack does not consume an attack that character would've been able to perform that turn.
  • For example, if Lady S'theno is able to attack normally and the player casts a spell forcing Lady S'theno attack, it can still perform its normal attack afterwards.
• Forced attacks can also affect minions with summoning sickness, characters that have already attacked their maximum number of times, Frozen characters, and characters with "Can't attack".
• Forced attacks can still be redirected by effects such as Mayor Noggenfogger, Noble Sacrifice, or Ogre Brute. In this case, the redirected attack will only hit legal targets within the redirection's parameters.

Ex: Mayor Noggenfogger will cause minions affected by Mass Hysteria to only attack enemy characters, including the opposing hero.
