Warning: there is more than one data page for cards with this name.
Please identify which of these data pages are for the card this page is supposed to cover.
Data:Cards/Floating Watcher (Battlegrounds, golden), Data:Cards/Floating Watcher (Battlegrounds), Data:Cards/Floating Watcher(12271)
Once it is identified, please edit this page and use the |datapage
parameter on {{Card infobox}} to ensure data is pulled from the correct page.
As an example, if the correct data page is Data:Cards/Barrel(376)
, then this page would need {{Card infobox|datapage=Barrel(376)}}
to ensure it finds the correct page.

Floating Watcher is a common warlock minion card, from the Goblins vs Gnomes set.
How to get
Floating Watcher can be obtained through Goblins vs Gnomes card packs, or through crafting.

---|---|---|
Floating Watcher | 40 | 5 |
Golden Floating Watcher | 400 | 50 |
Notes
- Floating Watcher can be triggered multiple times within the same turn, producing multiple stacking buffs.[1]
- Floating Watcher is only triggered when the hero is actually damaged. For example, damage dealt to hero while immune due to Mal'Ganis will not trigger the Watcher.[2] However, Armor damage counts as damage.[3]
- It is impossible for Floating Watcher to be destroyed by Explosive Trap unless the controlling hero is immune, or the hunter has Spell Damage active. This is because the Explosive Trap deals damage to both the Watcher and the hero, and the latter damage will trigger the Watcher's effect, increasing its Health by 2. Thus, even if the Watcher's Health is lowered to 0 by the Explosive Trap's damage, the Watcher's triggered effect will result in its Health immediately being increased by 2. Since the game does not resolve deaths until all simultaneous effects have taken place, the Watcher will not die from this sequence of events.[4]

With Floating Watcher on the field, killing an enemy Leper Gnome and activating its Deathrattle still deals damage to the hero, but it does provide a buff to the Watcher.
