Strategy
Although the damaging Battlecry is strong and flexible, this minion has poor stats and is expensive to play (
Disciple of C'Thun has a similar Battlecry with a lower manacost). However the Fire Plume Phoenix is an Elemental which allows it to shine in themed decks as a mid to late-game play, activating special effects the following turn such as the 5 cost Servant of Kalimos.
