- Finale
A bonus if this spends all your remaining Mana.
Finale is a mechanic introduced in Festival of Legends. Cards with Finale gain additional effects if playing them spends all of the player's remaining mana.
Notes[]
- In order for a Finale effect to trigger, the player's remaining mana must be 0 when it is played.[1]
- Example: To activate Ghost Writer's Finale effect, the player needs to have exactly 5 mana available when playing it. This can be either mean playing it with The Coin on turn 4, or regularly on turn 5, or later in the game after having spent enough mana to have exactly 5 mana left for the turn.[1]
- Finale is not tied to the card's original cost, but its current cost.[1]
- Example: Ghost Writer was discounted to 2 mana. Playing it with 2 mana available triggers its Finale effect.
- If a spell with Finale is cast randomly, the Finale effect will only trigger if the player is currently at 0 mana crystals.
- Additionally, if the spells themselves are cast twice (such as by utilizing Electra Stormsurge), their Finale effect will trigger twice.
- For a Finale effect to trigger, the player doesn't necessarily need to spend any mana, they just need to have 0 mana as a result of playing the card. Playing a 0-cost Finale card with 0 mana remaining will trigger the Finale effect.
