Face Collector is a boss that can be encountered during the Monster Hunt.

Deck[]

This boss plays a deck identical to yours.

Strategy[]

Face Collector has a copy of your deck and a free double Mutate each turn. You can beat him by controlling the board and eliminate his minions early one while you build your board.

It's advantageous to have Maiden of the Lake in your deck, not just because of playing her allowing you to use your hero power more cheaply, but if Collector plays her, this actually INCREASES the cost of his hero power from 0 to 1. When she's on the field it's possibly a good idea to avoid attacking her. Her high health probably means she'll survive long enough to be mutated anyway, but until then she'll make his play more costly.

Darius Crowley[]

Face Collector will not have your cannons, or cannon synergy. Depending on the strategy you chose to tackle the Witchwood, this can be a decently tough fight or a walk in the park. Be careful, while it might not have your treasures or cannons, it can still play your enrage cards, so be very mindful when shooting your cannon. If you manage to get the Plague of Wrath, this won't be a big problem for you.

Toki, Time-Tinker[]

Face Collector will have a copy of your deck, but without your treasure cards. This is specially important since you can take advantage of powerful treasures such as Double Time or Scepter of Summoning, and use it to your own advantage to keep the board clear of enemy minions. If you can keep his board empty, while slowly consolidate your board, this will make his hero power (which evolves a minion for free) eventually useless, and you will easily win. If you cannot neutralise his earlier minions, he will keep evolving them and eventually, you will be quickly defeated.

As he will be using your spells against you, minions that counter enemy spells such as Troggzor the Earthinator can be very useful for you to quickly win the game.

Keep in mind that while it is tempting to set up a combo, it is possible for Face Collector to use A New Face on your minion. Generally though, no matter what threat you set up, he will not use it on your minions (but there is still the possibility).
