Strategy[edit | edit source]
Elemental Allies can effectively be thought of as granting your Elementals "If you played an Elemental last turn, draw 3 spells" until the card triggers. This effect is exceptionally powerful, but requires some specific deckbuilding. The best fit for this card is a Control Mage that uses Elementals more heavily than usual.
The card is most easily triggered by saving a "filler" Elemental in your hand to follow up on a major play like Chenvaala or Mana Cyclone. Good, reliable Elementals include Violet Spellwing, Fire Hawk, Water Elemental, and Mountain Giant.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- During a turn, if this quest's progress is 1/2 and the player does not play any Elemental that turn, after ending turn, the progress is reset to 0/2. This makes it the first Quest or Sidequest card whose progress can be lost.
