At the end of your turn, add a Lackey to your hand.

A lot of people blame the parents when a totem goes bad.

Lackey cards[edit | edit source]

EVIL Totem generates one of the following cards at random.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

EVIL Totem is an easy way to generate multiple Lackeys. Because of the power Lackeys represent, this card should be played as early as possible and protected as best you can. If EVIL Totem creates one Lackey, it is worth its price. Any more, and it's extremely high value.

This card works very well with Corrupt the Waters, providing cheap and powerful Battlecry minions to complete the quest and synergize with Heart of Vir'naal. If going second, you can coin out EVIL Totem on turn 1, allowing you to play Corrupt the Waters and a Lackey on your next turn.

If you're facing a Shaman, try to keep fast damage like Wrath, Penance, or Backstab in your opening hand to destroy the EVIL Totem as soon as possible.

Lore[edit | edit source]

If you're here visiting Uldum with slightly more nefarious intentions, Hagatha has created a shaman totem capable of calling in reinforcements, adding a Lackey to your hand at the end of each of your turns. I bet you didn't know a totem could pick sides, but... that one sure did.[1]
