How to get

Prior Year of the Gryphon's rotation on March 30, 2021:

  • Two copies of Drain Life were automatically included in all players' collections upon unlocking the warlock class.
  • Two Golden copies of Drain Life were a reward for raising a warlock to levels 45 and 46.

  • This spell's damage and healing components function separately. If the damage component is prevented by effects such as Divine Shield or Immune, the healing component will still take effect at full strength. While useful in the right situations, Drain Life is generally considered to be a weak card compared to alternatives like LegacyShadow Bolt or LegacySoulfire (or especially Goblins vs GnomesDarkbomb in Wild format).
