Deckbuilding effects are effects that take place during deck creation. While a card with a deckbuilding effect is included in a deck, the rules for how that deck is built will be altered.

Notes[]
- Unlike Start of Game effects, the deckbuilding effect triggers before the game begins and the opponent is not shown the effect taking place.
- Although similar,
Genn Greymane and Baku the Mooneater are not deckbuilding effects since they can be included in decks with odd/even cards, although the collection manager will automatically filter to show only appropriate cards while building a deck with them.
