Debug card

Debug cards were cards designed for testing and debugging Hearthstone. Designed for use in a specific testing environment, these cards often featured outlandish powers, and were not available to players.

Debug cards were all placed in an in-game set titled "CHEAT". Although this set still exists in the game data, every card in it has either been repurposed as a new card or simply removed.

Notes

• Most debug cards were spell cards; a smaller number were minions.
• Debug cards often featured humorous titles and descriptions.
• Almost all debug cards in place during Hearthstone's beta use the same art, created by Zoltan & Gabor, depicting the character Edward the Odd, a tribute to Eric Dodds. Appropriately, this image is also used for Dodds' credits card.

This section lists when all debug cards were added. Debug cards appeared first in Patch 1.0.0.4217 and mostly remained in the game until Patch 8.2.0.19506.
