+ | This card can act as a cheaper, non-conditional [[Drakonid Operative]], but requires knowledge and possibly some luck to make use of. Using this card requires the player to know the current [[meta]] in order to determine what card your opponent is most likely to put in their deck. Because of this, this card can be "soft-countered" by non-traditional deck building, as using unusual cards like [[Purify]], [[Renounce Darkness]], or [[Shatter]] can throw a player off. |

George promised to be good. But it's easy for little Glimmerroots to forget.
Curious Glimmerroot is an epic priest minion card, from the upcoming Journey to Un'Goro set.
How to get
Curious Glimmerroot can be obtained through Journey to Un'Goro card packs, or through crafting.
Card | Crafting cost | Disenchanting |
---|---|---|
Curious Glimmerroot | 400 | 100 |
Golden Curious Glimmerroot | 1600 | 400 |
Notes
- Curious Glimmerroot's effect allows the player to choose one of three cards, one of which is a random class card that started in the opponent's deck at the start of the game, and the other two are random cards selected from the opponent's class, unless the opponent's deck started with no class cards in the deck.[1] These two cards will definitely be cards that are not in the opponent's deck.[2]
Strategy
This card can act as a cheaper, non-conditional Drakonid Operative, but requires knowledge and possibly some luck to make use of. Using this card requires the player to know the current meta in order to determine what card your opponent is most likely to put in their deck. Because of this, this card can be "soft-countered" by non-traditional deck building, as using unusual cards like Purify, Renounce Darkness, or Shatter can throw a player off.
Lore
Glimmerroot is original to Hearthstone, as both an herb and sentient plant.
