Notes[]

Strategy[]

Completing the quest is extremely trivial. There are many, many different cards with Battlecry you can use, and you only need 6 of them. Lackeys can also be used and make the quest progression even faster.

Once Saviors of UldumHeart of Vir'naal is unlocked, all your Battlecry cards get a massive boost. Direct damage like Rise of ShadowsKobold Lackey and Saviors of UldumWeaponized Wasp are doubled, card generators like Rise of ShadowsSwampqueen Hagatha and Rise of ShadowsBarista Lynchen create twice as many cards, Saviors of UldumSiamat gets all 4 keywords, and so on. The onslaught of value these cards can bring in combination is used to close out the game.

Lore[]

This card appears to represent Rise of ShadowsSwampqueen Hagatha tainting the waters of Uldum and causing them to become infested with Mucklings.

The Heart of Vir'naal is unique to Hearthstone but is clearly named after the large Vir'naal River or the Vir'naal Lake, Uldum's two main bodies of water.

The Vir'naal River is a river that flows through central Uldum. It starts from the Vir'naal Dam and ends at the sea.
Vir'naal Lake is the largest source of water in Uldum, created when the tol'vir built the Vir'naal Dam so long ago. The city of Ramkahen is located on the northern border, while the small harbor town Mar'at is located on the western side. The date farm on Tahret Grounds is on the eastern side.
