When summoned, spawn X additional appendages.
Colossal is a mechanic introduced in Voyage to the Sunken City. Whenever a Colossal minion is summoned or transformed into, uncollectible minions called appendages are summoned alongside it. The number of appendages is stated after the plus (Colossal +4 means summoning 4 appendages).
Notes[]
- Each appendage is a unique card with unique art but has the same card text.
- Appendages can be seen when you hover over the Colossal minions in hand or check them in collection manager.
- Colossal minions summons their appendages first before triggering any of their other effects.
- Corresponding appendages are also summoned whenever a minion is transformed into a Colossal minion.[1]
- Colossal minions cannot be randomly transformed into (by Evolve for example).[2]
- If a Colossal minion is removed from battlefield (being destroyed or transformed for example), its appendages will still be on the battlefield.
