Quests in Battlegrounds are spells, which can be completed to gain a conditional Reward.
Functionality[]
- Quest options will appear on turn 4 (the 6 Gold turn).[1]
- Instead of getting the same Quest and Reward every game, the player picks them from three options at that time.[1]
- Both the Quest and Reward are selected to be completed as a pair.[1]
- Once the Quest is completed, the Reward will be automatically received.[1]
- The requirements to complete a Quest may change to be harder or easier to complete, depending on the player's hero or the strength of the Reward.[1]
- Quests are planned to last until the end of Season 2 of Battlegrounds.[1]
Baseline requirements for all Quests[]
- Battlegrounds/Invite the Guests: Buy 7 minions.
- Battlegrounds/Dust for Prints: Add 18 cards to your hand.
- Battlegrounds/Cry for Help: Play 4 Battlecry minions.
- Battlegrounds/Witness Protection: Have a friendly Taunt minion be attacked 8 times.
- Battlegrounds/Exhume the Bones: Trigger 7 friendly Deathrattles.
- Battlegrounds/Track the Footprints: Have Bob’s Tavern Refresh 9 times.
- Battlegrounds/Assemble a Lineup: Summon 17 minions.
- Battlegrounds/Unmask the Culprit: Lose or tie 3 combats.
- Battlegrounds/Find the Murder Weapon: Increase a minion’s stats 14 times.
- Battlegrounds/Reenact the Murder: Have 21 friendly minions die.
- Battlegrounds/Sort It All Out: Order your minions from lowest to highest Attack for 4 combats.
- Battlegrounds/Follow the Money: Spend 33 Gold.
- Battlegrounds/Unlikely Duo: Play 5 minions from a minion type or another minion type.
- Battlegrounds/Hire an Investigator: End your turn with unspent Gold 3 times.
- Battlegrounds/Crack the Case: Have friendly minions attack 11 times.
- Battlegrounds/Burn the Evidence: Sell 9 minions.
- Battlegrounds/Pressure the Authorities: Get your warband to 30 total Attack.
- Battlegrounds/Round Up the Suspects: Destroy 18 enemy minions.
Notes[]
- Many Quests have a "{0}" or a similar variable number in their card text. This indicates that the number in its place can change.
- For example, Battlegrounds/Invite the Guests says "Buy {0} minions". In this case, depending on the circumstances, the "{0}" can be a 7, changing it to "Buy 7 minions".
