Bartender Bob is original to Hearthstone and appears in The Dalaran Heist single-player mission. He greets the player in one of his many taverns after the third and fifth boss rounds of each run, during which the player can take a rest and be able to modify and strengthen their deck for future battles, alongside the merriment of some stories and various dishes of good food.
Additionally, these encounters count towards the "Win x games in any mode" quest.
The Dalaran Heist[]
Modify your deck with Bartender Bob!
Between rounds 3 and 4 and rounds 5 and 6, the player will enter a Friendly Encounter with Bartender Bob. During a Friendly Encounter, 4 of your minions in your deck will be placed on your side of the board, and 4 random minions will be placed on Bob's side of the board. The player will receive 3-5 cards that can modify their Adventure Deck, such as adding or removing minions on the board or permanently buffing a specific card. The player has 2 "Gold" (mana) to spend, and each card has a cost of 0 or 1.

Bartendotron
- Main article: Bartendotron
Bartendotron is a mech version of Bartender Bob. On rare occasions, players can find themselves encountering Bartendotron instead of Bartender Bob when they normally would.[2] The encounter functions in the same way as the usual one with Bartender Bob, but Bartendotron only offers Mech minions.[2]
Bartendotron owns his own unique tavern:
