Assassin's Blade is a rogue weapon card, from the Basic set.
How to get
Prior Year of the Gryphon's rotation on March 30, 2021:
- Two copies of Assassin's Blade were a reward for raising a rogue to level 2.
- Two Golden copies of Assassin's Blade were a reward for raising a rogue to levels 32 and 34.
Strategy
This weapon has the highest Durability of all Rogue weapons while having enough Attack to make good use over time, as long it doesn't get removed prematurely. This weapon is a great target for weapon buffs like Deadly Poison and Leeching Poison and gives those cards a ton of value. However, while efficient, its high cost can prove cumbersome.
Lore
Assassin's Blade is a one-handed dagger dropped from mobs in Shadowfang Keep. However, this weapon does not match that weapon's appearance, and likely simply references the obvious, a blade used by assassins or rogues.
Trivia
- The artwork for this card comes from the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game "Blood of Gladiators" series, for the card Emerald Ripper.
- The weapon portrayed in the card art is a dagger called Emerald Ripper from World of Warcraft. It is dropped by Moroes in Karazhan.
