Not on good terms with warlocks.
Arcane Amplifier is a common mage minion card, from the Galakrond's Awakening set.
How to get
Two copies of regular Arcane Amplifier are obtained by defeating Dragoncaster Askaara in Galakrond's Awakening's Chapter 2 of E.V.I.L. campaign.
Once the regular version has been obtained, both regular and golden versions can be crafted and disenchanted.
Card | Crafting cost | Disenchanting |
---|---|---|
Arcane Amplifier | 40 | 5 |
Golden Arcane Amplifier | 400 | 50 |
Strategy
Since this is unlikely to survive a turn, this can be treated as a Daring Fire-Eater that costs 2 more, for an addition of 1/4 in stats. Alternatively, it can be compared to Fallen Hero.
This has synergy with Coldarra Drake, if either can somehow survive a turn. If Coldarra Drake survives a turn, then you can play Arcane Amplifier and deal 9 damage, which is not very powerful, but if BOTH survive a turn, like via Time Warp, you can deal a whopping 15 damage for 10 mana next turn!
